Hotel Santa Fe Disneyland Resort Paris Review

The hotel Santa Fe at the Disneyland Resort Paris is one of Disney’s budget hotels, although the word budget may be misleading. Disney labels this hotel as a ‘value resort’ and when you compare the cost of this hotel with the more premium options within the Disney resort this location does offer great value. The hotel is Pixar’s Cars themed. Previous to this it was a mexican themed hotel.

If like me, you have read reviews of this hotel and watched one of the many vlog reviews you may be under the impression that this hotel is a little run down and depressing. The vlogs I had seen definately put me off booking this hotel before, despite the official glossy Disney promotional material. I’m pleased to say that the hotel has surprised me.

The rooms are comfortable and cosy. Our room had two double beds in it. The ‘Cosy Cone’ theming lightens the room and adds something more for the kids in your group. The beds are comfortable enough for the price of the hotel. For people from the UK it is on par with any Travelodge.

The bathroom in this room is by far the coolest bathroom theming I have seen although not having his and her sinks is a little bit of a let down!

Check in was a dream. We arrived 20 minutes before our check in time and the room was ready. There was also no queue, which if you have stayed in a Disney hotel before, you will know that this can be the first long queue of your stay. The lady that checked us in was a pleasure to talk too. Fast, friendly and efficient.

As with all hotels at Disneyland Paris this one has a restaurant offering breakfast and evening meals, a bar offering drinks and light snacks and a small Disney shop selling merchandise and snacks.

Would I stay here again? The answer is yes, but only if I couldn’t book one of the more premuim hotels which i think offer a better style of accomodation and feel more in keeping with Disney . I would give this hotel a 3/5. It has everything a family needs, one of the cheapest hotels and has a direct walkable route to the parks (10-15 minute walk).

The main problem the Santa Fe has is that every other Disney hotel overshadow its theming, particularly the Hotel Cheyene which is just across the river. Its rooms are similar in price, its theming looks amazing and makes you wonder why you didn’t book there instead?…
