2019 – This hotel will be closed for refurbishment and is currently not available to book for certain dates. The hotel is not currently featured in the latest Disney brochure.
This hotel is due to undergo an exciting change and will become Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. Given the number of Marvel comics based in New York this seems like an ideal fit and is a very exciting development. The hotel will close during this renovation.
The artwork reveals what the hotel may look like, with a revamped lobby featuring art work from the popular comics. Display cases will contain props from the films including Iron Man suits.
The previews of the new room design has split opinion. Many feel that there should be greater theming but Disney has tried to keep this subtle to appeal to all guests. This room shows Iron Man artwork which has led to rumours that each floor may contain a different character. No doubt this update will prove very popular and we expect prices to reflect this demand once the Hotel reopens.
